“Travelling the World” and “Tasting the World” have travelled to Korea! Travelling the World team goes all over Korea from the monuments of the Korean War to Korea Drama shooting places. You can watch the programs on Channel 7, the schedules for Korea episodes are:

Korea – Turkiye Memorial Tour

UN Memorial Cementary (Busan): This is a sacred place built in 1951 to commomarate the UN soldiers who lost their lives in the Korean War which started in the 1950. You can visit the UN Memorial Cementary and pay respects to the 462 Turkish soldiers resting there.
 

Monument for Turkish Soldiers (Yongin): During the Korean War; in the combats of Changsungchun, Nevada and Keumyangjang-ri (which are all located here in Yongin now) Turkish soldiers bravely fought and won these battles. To honor Turkish soldiers success and to pay respect to the soldiers who  lost their lives, Korean Government Ministery of National Defense has built a monument in Yongin.
 

DMZ: DMZ is the demilitarized area on the 38th parallel that separates South and North Korea. This area has been demilitarized with the ceasefire agreement signed in 1953. You can stand on the border between South and North Korea and learn more about the Korean War here.
